how to tighten down front seat?

08 C350. driver's seat bottom seems loose - intermittently when stopping or accelerating, the seat bottom will seem to "slip" and i can hear and feel a little "bump" from the seat - the right side.

what am i dealing with here, does anyone know how to get the seat bottom secured better?

thanks.

I had the same problem with my 09 C300 and the dealer replaced the seat frame under warranty. I believe that there's a TSB on the issue. The fix lasted a couple of months and it is happening again.

Let me ask you, does the seat make the same noise if you push up and down on the front of the seat?

It's either rail bolts loose - unlikely. Or the rail latching system is not working on one side. Non motorised seats!

thanks for the suggestions - i don't really hear it so much when pushing/pulling on the front of the seat (but then again there's so many other cushion noises going on it was hard to tell).

by seat "frame" do you mean something specifically that holds the seat bottom in place, or the ENTIRE frame that attaches it to the rails?

Where are you? Complete your profile. My comment generally applies to cars without the memory seat, mirror, column package. i.e. most US cars.

I've got the same problem, haven't resolved it, warranty was up when I realized the issue. I was hoping it just required some tightening, but sounds like I just have a problem with my seat latches.
