Wipers not working on W204 C300 2008
today I turned on the car after 2 days. It was raining and auto was on. The wipers moved down a bit to the home setting and that was it.
No sounds, no noise and no movement on any settings. I was wondering if anyone has had the same problem. and of course this happens 2 months after the warranty is over
Very much appreciated.
Thk
Bobb
but no movement on the wipers or the jets for the windshield
Any idea? Has this not happened to anyone else?

I ended up taking it in and the they did what I did with the same results. They opened it and and say there is corrosion and wires were damages.
Initially they said only two hours of labour for $280, now that they opened it they say it's more extensive and takes about 5 hours ($700)
I know it is such a rip off but nothing I can do about it now, I need the damn wipers in this city
I'll update when I get the final bill and see how many hours they'll end up charging me
said the wire in the harness was corroded by salt or whatever the heck they put on the roads here ( I dont understand why on a 4 year old car that cost 50K, less that 40,000 km, why the heck should water be able to get in the harness)
they also had to flush the brake fluid while re-wiring
6x$140 plus shop material for a grand total of $945
I drove it outta the shop (it was there two days) and the warning light comes on that ESP and run flat are not operational
SOO I had to take it back in again to see what the heck is that all about
UPDATE:
So I finally got it back, during rewiring they disconnected the ESP wire when they took out the brake calipers and forgot to reconnect it
Gotta tell you I am very disappointed in this car. I expect this much trouble from a GM or Ford but not the Benz. Every few month there's some sensor or wiring or sunroof issue with this
I think it's time to get rid of it
