2008 Mercedes-Benz C300 Sport
New Mercedes Owner Looking for Rims
I just bought a 2008 Mercedes-Benz C300 Sport.. I have never done anything to a car before, but I found some wheels I like.
Which do you guys recommend? Will they fit on my car and since I am Minnesota will I have to take them off in the winter?

Couple questions.. if I order them online where do I get them installed and how much does that usually cost?
Will I need to buy new tires?

How do I know what the center cap will look like?

- Yes, they will be atrocious in the winter. Keep your original (hopefully) 17" wheels and get some Blizzak WS70 in that size for winter.
- Usually can reuse the original center cap, or ask the vendor if they supply new ones. Some do.
- I bought the identical wheel (Style 810) from PowerWheels Pro and also know that Radical Z sells them as well. Both great outfits. Be sure you are getting the proper offset so they don't stick out of the wheel wells.
- Why 19" wheels? Ride quality, performance, braking, and fuel economy all go the wrong way. Just for looks? I would never do this and have stayed with 17". Roads in our mutual part of the country will destroy a 19" rim at the first pot hole.

I'm guessing you are in California, with mostly smooth roads un-destroyed by salt, ice, and 100 degree temperature shifts over the year. The OP is from Minnesota, similar to, if not worse than, my Michigan winters, and hasn't done any mods before. Even 18" wheels don't fare very well around here when the low profile tires give up quickly on the broken/potholed pavement, denting or cracking more rims than you would imagine. Unfortunately, even if just for looks, and he didn't mind all the performance/dynamic losses, he doesn't realize what he would be in for where he lives with 19". The next time my wife's E with 18" wheels get bent, if the tires are worn enough, I'm swapping over her whole set-up back to 17" just to make them last longer.

2008 Mercedes C300
hey bud, im thinking of selling my 19" Concept One RS8 wheels AND tires with center caps and lug bolts w/ lock and key. If your interested, pm me. I also have quite a few pics on my profile. I bought the rims/tires in may and only put about 500 miles on them (my mb is my weekend car)
