*No cabin drone AT ALL!!!
*I cannot imagine those who installed a muffler/resonator to this straight pipe setup... It will be TOO QUIET!
However.............. If you remove the primary and secondary cats, then this will be LOUD. So if you plan on doing that... leave some space in your straight pipe setup so you can add a muffler later... Just cut the pipe and insert new muffler and you will be set.

exactly what i'm looking for. can have some sport loudness when high rpm. but normal driving is comfort and wont disturb the neighbours mid night when i'm home.
i heard is better to add a power flap for those who did a Y pipe. it actually have dual sound from low to high rpm range. Most of it's purpose is to get better respond all the way

What everyone is interested in is the increase in "max-hp", which as you noted is small as in 6-7 hp. The interest by most is false, as they never drive above 4K rpm. But to the people that want to see a dyno curve, the increase in max-hp is important, as it directly affects the 1/4 mile times, and performance when shifting several gears at redline. Low end torque increase is felt by more people, as it falls in the normal rpm range, and may help 0-60 runs.
Now on the new Burger intake, I wonder if they have any data for improvement, like AIT readings, differential pressure, or dyno? Nothing on the website. Based on the Rx7 Twin Turbo upgrade evolution that I played a small part in, open intakes like this were best for track use, where the influence of heat soak did not exist. But for a daily driver, some shielding surrounding the filter, using the hood as the top shield, worked best.

a bit more weight. 274 oem hp doesn' have to worry about 201 oem hp (208 with the box). They are not similar cars. Now put your directional on and move over to the right if you see another similar 2.0T car, if it's a stock Lancer EVO, OEM specs at 291 hp, 300 ft-lbs (about the WRC limits) .

Has anyone heard of Becker Performance exhaust systems?
