Fog lights don't turn on when stearing the wheel
Hi
I Have a w204 c220 cdi mercedez benz avantgarde from July 2007, and a friend of mine has the exact same car, but he doesn't have the Multimedia package.
But when he turns the wheel to the left or right, his fog lights turns on (for better visibility) and mine doesn't. I tried messing with settings of the car to see if i could turn this feature.

If you have the Avantgarde then you're most likely running the H11 fogs where your friend is running the H7 fogs with the sport package. Only the H7 fogs have turn in lighting. You tell the difference by H11 fogs are oval and H7 fogs are round.

Even at dark..
mine doesn't work
I have this car about 4 year ago, but i never paid atention to it, then my friend told me that his car turns the fog lights on when he steers the wheel to the left or right..
And mine, simple don't. We both Have Xenon Headlights (Not Bi-Xenon), Both have the H7 Fog Lights..

If i go to a Official Mercedes workshop, can they program that option to enable that feature?
i don't knot how to turn it on

Are you sure you have the H7? Those are the same fog trim I have on my H11. You better pull the bulb to make sure but I'm pretty positive you have the H11 fogs.
*Edit, I just looked at your second pic again and you have H11, I can see where the base of the bulb is "screwed" into the housing. Also, have you confirmed your friends car actually does this feature or you just base it off what he told you?

The complaints about those stupid one sided lights began in 2007 because no one wanted them and it was found to be non-cancellable.
it has nothing to do with which bulb or Multimedia or fog light shape.
Where do these tales come from, anyway?
I pay no attention to mine, which BTW are oval because it's a Luxury model.

Mines are H11, but that means that this feature doesn't work on my car because of the bulbs?
**EDIT: i saw now, my friends car has the oval fog lights and mine are round, can this be the difference between mine and his?
