Scraping wheel well woes!

2008 C350 with AMG 19" wheels and they're scraping. This was purchased used.

-Is this thing lowered?
-Can the ride height be adjusted without changing springs?
-If 17" wheels are put on, will there still be scraping?

Any help is much appreciated.

My guess is the wheels are replicas and a higher offset than stock hence the rubbing. Could be lowered as well, what color are the springs?

The wheels look legit AMG but I'm no expert. They look just like the silver and grey amgC63 5-point wheels. They're 235/30 and 265/30. I didn't get to look at the springs. This is my mom's car and I don't live with her anymore

Well I believe the c63 wheels only came in 18's. c63 has wider fenders so even I'd they are true oem wheels they might be too high of an offset. Hard to tell without pics of the setup honestly.

Or could there be spacers on the hubs that would cause scraping? Again thanks for the help. The only scraping I usually deal with is footpegs.

If there are spacers you can see them between the wheel and brake rotor. I run spacers on my car. If that's the case you could always pull them off and problem solved

Ok there are no spacers and the springs are red. I couldn't see a spring logo. And these wheels are like what's on it now in 235/35/19 and 265/35/19. What sort of 18" wheel and offset combo will not scrape with this setup? I'll replace these with 18's for more practicality.
