I just bought a 2011 C300, haven't had it a month, and my child was playing around with the small circular dash vent that is above the main vents, to the side of the driver and passenger door windows. He broke the center plastic slant pieces off, leaving a open hole in the dashboard. This vent piece now pops in and out.

Can this easily be replaced and where might I find them? The dealership is an hour and a half drive.

Did you end up driving to the dealership or found it online? Mine broke as well.

I still haven't found a way to replace just the vent. The dealership wanted to charge me to change out the whole dash.

If you don't mind me asking, how did you break yours?

I checked with Mercedes also, mine was broken as well.

The vent is actually the vent for the defroster, and it comes out with the clips on the inside. I don't know why Mercedes doesn't have these parts separate. Mercedes told me, I would have to replace the whole dash.

I decided to take out the vent and low and behold found the broken piece inside. I super glued it ever so slightly at the bottom, and you can't even tell now. Good as new.

Try looking for the broken piece inside the vent after you remove the vent. It removes easily, you just have to have a hook tool to pull the clips on the inside of the vent near the outer edges.

my wife put her feet on top of the dash and cracked it lol ...i recently bought a seat from a wrecked 2010 c300 on ebay im going to try to ask the seller if he can pull out the vent for me.

Hello, I have a 2010 C300 and my passenger side adjustable vent broke and I was wondering where do I look up the A204 830 67 54 9116 L and A204 830 66 54 9116 R?

Mine broke as well on 2012 GLK. Dealer wants $1200 to replace entire dash since it's not sold separately. If someone finds a supplier please let me know.

Just stumbled across this thread. I had the same thing happen to my car. Any quick fixes other than what I read above? I was thinking I can probably go to an auto scrap yard and try to find one..

I have the same issue on a 2009 c350, does anyone know if the pre/post facelift round vents are the same?

i know the main vents are different, but the smaller round vents look the same?

Looks like someone may be finally making some non-OEM replacements - looks like just one guy out on Ebay selling these (see link below) but he says they are matte black and it appears they don't fit 100%. But hey its better than staring at broken vents.

This is what I found too. I bought and the color looks a little grey but it matched my black interior perfectly. It's a bit different than factory, but I replaced both and didn't have any issues.

I found some to order on Amazon!! How did you pop them out?? Im afraid to mess up something more than just the broken slants!
