iPhone 5 contacts sync?
Anyways, once I connected the bluetooth, i can access my contacts from the car's dial and has full function to operate my iPhone5.
It even has "Text Message" button but I haven't played with it yet.. I'll update when i get a chance tonight.

You can try deleting phone from Comand and re-adding. Corporate directed me to:

for the latest phone information.
Good luck

I would rather not update as I think it changes several other things, such as automatically switching your car back to "Comfort" mode every time you start it. This would annoy me much more then not having my contacts snyc.

I only had one bluetooth hooked up at the time. I also went to an Apple store to see if they had any suggestions. They said it's because MB hasn't worked out the kinks and needs to meet up with Apple to fix this.
I have a 2012 C350 and an iphone 5s.
Everything was working fine up until last week, now every time I go to make a call through Comand "Call Name" it says "the phone book is empty".
The phone is connected via bluetooth but for whatever reason the contacts are no longer synching. I can make calls on the phone and it will work with Comand but I would rather just do it through voice commands to stay hands free.
Anybody know how to fix this?
I have a 2010 C300 Sport - No Nav - No Harmon Kardon - Just basic 8 speaker stereo with bluetooth.
I have an iPhone 6.
I chatted with MB cust service and they gave me bad info, Told me:
a) my contacts could not be loaded to the car.
b) also told me that if I used an older iPhone that was compatible and imported Vcards, they would only work with that phone.
Both of these were not true.
Here is how I got my contacts imported using a PC.
PC must have Bluetooth.
1) Back up your contacts to iCloud
2) on my windows 10 laptop I went to icloud.com and accessed my contacts.
3) selected the contacts I wanted in the car (I have over 2000 in phone). I only put my 20 or 30 most used numbers in the car's phone book.
4) I made sure the contacts I wanted to import had only one phone number saved (create dup contact if nec), and they were NOT marked iPhone. Mark them mobile, this made a difference.
5) on the iCloud website highlight the contacts one at a time, click the gear in the lower left and "export to Vcard". Create a folder on the PC and save them all to that folder.
6) Now I am left with a folder that contained the 30 or so contacts I wanted to import to the car's phone book,
Head to the car with the Bluetooth laptop.
Pair the laptop to the car's bluetooth, just like you did your phone.
set the car to import Vcards
1) open the folder with the Vcards on the laptop
2) select all
3) right click (not left cick)
4) choose "send to" + "Bluetooth device"
5) choose MB bluetooth
6) the vcards should now import to the car.
You're Welcome
