Swapping out steering wheel?
Currently I have a (2011) C250 CGI, although registered in 2011, the interior is a 2010 C250...which led me to believe that it's a 2010 C250 CGI (new 2nd hand car)
. (lol i still have an identity crisis with mine)I somewhat hated my steering wheel...very bland....and doesn't justify how the car should be looking. The newer 2011-2012 steering wheels looks much better and thinking to swap one out to one of them. I attached the first pic (not my car but similar interior) and 2nd from a C250 Coupe. But note the steering wheels...
So if i do a swap of the SWs, is it complicated to the point that the functions on the SWs are severely affected because they are newer sets (electronic wise)?
Do the functions (buttons on the SWs) still work even if i swap them? FYI I don't really use the call function...
2010:

2011+?:
I could buy an OEM 2012 paddleshift, but does it work? As in the functions/paddleshift? That's my question right now
EDIT: Whoops it's 3 spoke, AND paddleshift...just never noticed

Other than lighting, does all the button work correctly? I think I can give up the lighting for the overall looks
What do you mean by button lighting? The steering buttons light up?
DCT motorsports swapped one and they were trying to make the lighting work
