AMG Door PIN Install WOW!!!!

Went to the dealer today to get my signal lights on the side mirrors replace and a MB Campaign (wiring harness for camshaft adjustment & solenoid ). So I asked for a qoute about replacing the Sh#$%ty door pins in my current C350 with the AMG steel ones and was blown AWAY with the price (parts and labor) $226. See Pic Blow: Sorry for the bad quality pic

The front is unscrew and screw. As for the rear doors if you don't want to remove door panels. Just put some super glue on it, that's what I did and works great. The reason why is because the amg door pin is tiny bit short for the rear.

It's not hard to take off the rear door panels. seriously only takes 10 minutes and removal of 1 screw on each side.

So got my pins today. I just installed the front two that you need to screw in. I guess when i was at the dealership and asked for a quote for a door pins and install the tech must of looked if their pins fit because I barelly had to twist them to start unscrewing. I am scared to do the back rear ones. I will try this weekend. I got my pins on ebay.

I did a ton of reading trying to find a straight answer to wether or not the amg pins sit flush with the front doors. Finally i settled and bought this set of 4 pins for about 50 bucks!

They sit flush, a breeze to install and they dont have the amg logo. I put the on a 2013 c250 sport

Hope this helps!

The back pins are pull ofs on mine, snapped the new ones in.

i hv a 2013 C250 sport too. I am holding off ordering this, just coz I dont want to break anything while attaching the back pins. Can you confirm that the back pins were as easy to install as the front ones?

2012 C 250 I installed these pins a few months ago. its a 5-10 min install. Front screw on and the rear pull off and then push on and snap on. I did not need to use glue they fit perfectly
