Can I upgrade my steering wheel on my 2011 C300?

I hate my steering wheel and I want to upgrade it to the 2012 or 2013, has anyone here done that before? If yes, please contact me, I want to make sure i don't lose any of the steering wheel controls etc. and if I can get an idea on cost I will greatly appreciate it.

Thanks for your recommendations.

Is yours a 2011? Did you upgrade the steering wheel after you purchased the car?

Did you order it via the dealership or online? If online, please provide the source. Thanks.

You can try DCT Motorsports. They can customize yours or you can purchase one from the dealer.

I know you are looking for the facelift 2012 one but here is a pic of my stock redone. Was a lot less expensive than purchasing the a new C63 one

Pretty awesome! I think I may just do what you did and call it a day! It's cheaper to go that route anyways. How did they customize your steering wheel? Can they do stitching in a different color or red is it? How much did it cost if you don't mind me asking?

Thanks a lot!

Sure - I will be interested to know. It will probably be shipped from Germany since your brother works there?

Let me know man. Thanks!

One more thing, Stimpgsx, I checked the DCT MotorSports site and I don't see any steering wheel designs similar to yours, it looks like only the "ring" has been modified with thicker padding & red stitching, can you confirm?

You can have them do it however you want. I chose perforated leather sides. Thick grip and red stitching as my car is Mars Red. Write them an email and send them a picture of mine. He should remember as mine was the first c class wheel they did with red stitching. Cost should be $350-$400 with your core. $600-650 without it. That's if they haven't changed pricing since I got mine

Here's a question: how can you have a different navi than the one provided with Comand APS? That is a completely different navigation screen than in my 08 W204 and any other I've ever seen on any Mercedes.

Interesting... from what I saw on their website it looks like almost $1000 for a basic leather one plus $300 core.
