MB-Pilot

Came across this unit.

Anyone tried this one. I have a 2011 C300 with Nav+4 (UMI) I beleive i have the W204.

This product seems to intergrate seemlessly without too much hassle.

What do you guys think?

I dont understand why no one makes something like that intergrates with stock system using stock software im happy with UMI i just want a larger screen! dont understand why mercedes doesnt use the same screen as command like alot of auto makers thought w and w/o GPS

exactly my C is in the body shop now for some paint work and LED DRL Conversion and I got a Dodge Durango as a rental and its has beautiful big screen with bluetooth streaming usb and aux back up cam and sensors just no Navi! I dont even care about Navi I just need a large screen its like the only upgrade i want to get done and cant because just to get a command screen you need the unit and all the other crap i dont need

I couldnt agree with you more. I was looking just to get that bigger pop up screen. I don't really care for navi either that's what my smart phone is for.

The car came out in mid 2007. In mid 2007, the standard screen was actually pretty good.

First that arguement only holds true for a cheap make like kia or honda not mercedes, second mercedes is a company that innovated many new firsts for automotive technology, and also riddle me this than why keep using the same small non navi optioned screen including the 2013

I have been amazed how crappy my NAV+4 screen resolution is. Compare that to a sonata and it's a wrold of difference. HEck even the Nissan Rogue beats it hands down

I had a 2013 charger as rental for 3 weeks fully loaded. The screen on that thing was huge and it even displayed album art. The navigation was so detailed and clear.

I mean I know I have a C class but still it's a Mercedes. The more i look at it, the interior looks like cheap hard plastic. The new Ford Taurus has a very nice interior. I drove a 2012 limited Taurus; very spacious.

Not to mention that now my C300 has all kinds of electrical things it's doing and the dealership cant seem to be able to pinpoint it.

Alright guys, give it to me straight -- what all do I exactly need, part-wise, to just get the cooler, bigger, screen on my 2008 C300 that only has Audio 2.0?

About 2 grand...
ball park figure of course. If you look for salvage vehicles, the radio unit can be had for ~$700 (not positive if it includes the screen, but I would imagine it does)

That unit looks nice!!! I wish they had something like that for the facelift models. The unit there now is so tiny!
