Windshield wipers

I'm sure this has been discussed before but can't seem to find anything . I had a Cadillac before my Benz and it had automatic wipers such as if you speed up, they wipe faster when its raining /snowing . I can't seem to figure out if my vehicle has this , any idea ? also how do you know when its time for new wipers ?

it does all you have to do is turn the switch foward once thats auto mode so if your wipers are completely off next position is the auto mode I have a 2009 and it works flawlessy better than car i have had including bmw n audi

Ummm, we have automatic rain sensing wipers, not intermittent (time-delayed). Replace wipers when they squeak/no longer cleanly wipe?

You've certainly had some real issues with your CPO and dealer (tranny/TC saga), but you're spending too much time looking for things to be wrong with your car IMO.
Suggest you go out right now and drive it like you stole it. Will cure your Munchausen-by-proxy (MB Edition) for sure!

That is, spend more time enjoying your car!!!

so you're saying I should have automatic wipers ? Not sure what the P1 package consists of but is that included in there or is it standard on an 08 sport ?

indeed I have , due to my dealers neglect of my vehicle before selling it CPO, I do enjoy my car . very Much at that. just trying to find things needing replacement so that my extended warranty cost equals out

My 2011 has rain sensing. first turn stop has low level sensing, second stop has high level sensing, and next two stops slow and fast wipes constantly. I tried at first two stops, sprinkle some water on the windshield sensor and see wipers start to wipe.
