LED H7 Fog Light Bulbs
So I have purchased the Phillips Diamond Vision H7 55w fog-lights and they look great at night but I cannot get past the terrible blue bulb that is seen during the day when they are not in use.
My question is has anyone purchased LED H7 fog-lights and if so please make some recommendations. I came across these on ebay which is where I got the idea to use LED instead of standard halogen:

I know that I could do the HID retrofit but I do not have time at the moment for such an installation so that is not an option.

Here's a link for LED fog light that have CAN-BUS that will not set a warning on your cluster. (Plug & Play)...

No, that's not only wrong, but it does not make any sense.
To effectively disperse heat, yes it does need to be mounted to a piece of metal. If you do not mount it, will it "burn everything"? No. The resistor will get too hot, thus killing the bulb.
Luckily, there is a vertical bar within the fog assembly region where you can mount the load resistor. Note, if you have a sport, you need an H7 form factor bulb. The H7s (from what I have seen) do not come with built-in error-free CANBUS.
Good luck.

I'm curious to know the loss of brightness with the LEDs, as LEDs tend to be less bright as the beam is directional and doesn't utilize the reflector as effectively as a regular bulb.
I want to switch to LED bulbs, as the regular bulbs heats up too much and melts the protective film I have on the glass.
I am thinking of getting these LED bulbs in yellow and I have some extra resistors with an aluminum heat sink casing left over from another project which I could use to eliminate the error codes:

GLK 350 NO LOGIC 7, NO KEYLESS GO
This is because LEDs are a low voltage circuit and use a lot less power than the original incandescent bulbs they are replacing. So low, in fact, that the vehicle will determine the LED bulbs are actually an open circuit (burnt out or missing bulb) and will cause an effect called “Hyper Flashing”, where the turn signals blink excessively fast. Other issues that may be caused from this low voltage include the Vehicle Information Center indicating you have a bulb malfunction and you may not be able to activate your cruise control anymore.
