LED Tail Light Conversion
Looking to switch my regular tail lights over to an LED tail light. Looking for something with a black housing similar to these on ebay:

Will these work as plug and play without currently having LED tail lights? Or is there a conversion that has to be done?

Are the lights and LED exactly the same as the benz oem?

Vip motoz smoked tail lights
i justy made the switch to the smoked led tail lights from vipmotoz.
Bought them on ebay i live in canada so it took 6 days to get them, nice packaging and all. took them to my local car shop that does installs.
it looks SUPER great, 2 problems though, there was a buzzing sound when they were on kind of annoyiong and the classic error messages in dashboard saying the blinkers were burned. my local shop AND mercedes dealer said they couldnt do anything since it was plug and play and aftermarket so they would not dare to touch anything.
sent an email to their customer service, same day they actually CALLED ME back, and the guy said very politely take a pair of scissors and a flashliught it will take 5 minutes and ill take you through it !
open the little carpet cpompartment, found the 3 gold resistors, cut the green wire wt very thin yellow line, on both sides, thats it ! clear of the buzzing sound and no more error message !! magic to me cause im far from beeing a car guy !
very proffessionnal help and also talked to him about the error message from my switch to fog lights to LED error message. he told me(even if its NOT their product) get on ebay or electronic store a ''load resistor'' install one if not 2 and it will take care of the message ! looking forward to try that !
I can post pictures of the change or help anybody here with the same problem

The stock tail lights are inter-changeable... C300 or C350 can be swapped. I have heard that they may not work on the C63's. But the tails all use the same connector. So these should work whether you have the half led or not.
On a side note these lights are junk. Reminds me of when I used to pimp out my honda in high school... All it's going to take is for one person to buy something like this one day and it fry's something in their car costing thousands... then people will stick to better parts.

W204 taillight upgrade issues
So I have an 09 c300 with the typical taillights with no led whatsoever in them and I upgraded to the facelift version everything works nice and good except I have a msg error telling me the right rear fog light is not working and just to confirm the car is only equipped with left fog light not left anyone had this issue or any idea how to fix it
