Mercedes 'AME' ???
Been shopping for some rims. Spotted this fine specimen.
Wut is 'AME'? an attempt to ellude copyright infringement by replica manufacturers? or... something else?

OP, I found a site that says AME (Auto Mobile Engineering) "wheel brand is developed by Kyoho and manufactured by Enkei in Japan. AME is considered to be Japan’s premier, major luxury wheel brand and is actively involved within the ultra competitive, enthusiast markets."
I couldn't pull up the Kyoho website. I got an error message.
I found a forum with this: 3. I know their website claims that they are Japan's premier new wheel manufacturer but recently bought a used set (Shallen MX Chrome?) and two of the four lips started to peel =(
Also, I couldn't find any other pictures of AME rims with that knock-off AMG logo, so I don't know what's up with those you found.
I wouldn't recommend them.
