Rim sizes for 2011 c250 rear wheel drive
I am being told by some 20s will fit,
Others are saying 20s will not and I will have to go with 19s. Mercedes keep suggesting not to make mods.
This link is for the rims I am looking at. My car is white with the carbon black top.

Thank you in advance for your help.
Hi, thank you for the response. No I do not plan on doing any mods. The car is under warranty, not trying to void anything. Do you think the 19s will look off with out mods? Will there be major gaps?
Unfortunately mine is in the mail...however you can follow the thread here...

But yeah, if you're not doing any suspension mods, stick with 18s or at most 19s. Do you know what offsets and widths you're going for?

I'm in the process of buying wheels also. In this past few weeks I have spoken to wheel sellers and I think they just click on the computers and try to sell you rims that will "technically fit" at all cost.
I think they all use the same car configuration software. I don't understand why they will say 19 x 9.5 et 40/45 at the Rear will work for the w204 standard c-Class without poking or looking stanced.
This forum too can be a tad confusing but it's wealth of knowledge beats most wheel sellers by miles.

IMO it looks a lot better with the wheel 5mm too far in than the same wheel poking out 5mm.s

Viper, I was speaking to one wheel dealer and I was insisting on 50+ ET for the rear. He told me that 5mm is negligible insisting that 45mm is a better fit. He even said I should measure 5mm on a ruler and extrapolate from that. I just hung up on him.
5mm may not sound like much but when cutting it close with ET50, using ET45 might push you over the edge causing rubbing.
EDIT: check this out: http://www.1010tires.com/Tools/Wheel-Offset-Calculator it can be very helpful, as long as you know the stock dimensions you can easily calculate how much the new wheels will protrude.
