Has anyone tried these DRLs?

Thinking more about this, there is no way error codes will not be thrown. My car flips on the Fog lights when I hit the unlock button from the remote. It will detect no bulb and throw a code upon start up. I will maybe try and unplug my fog connector tomorrow and try a few things.
Little warning.
I ordered and installed these cheap LED DRL's and they DO NOT WORK properly. Seller did not want to send me a new module either. After tons of e-mails I received a refund. The problem is in 13,3V startup voltage in this module, and a lack of capasitor in voltage detection circuit. Made a video of the problem: https://www.dropbox.com/s/fp4z9jtrmc...2020.51.54.mp4
I'm going to make a new module or dc/dc step up converter to make them work as they supposed to.

These guys seem to have the full set of instructions for hooking these up to the battery on their auction:

Good to know, thanks for sharing
Reminds of my expensive X'mas tree. But I'm sure you got other drivers attention

No more X-mas tree. Installed dc/dc converter last night and everything works great.
Cig lighter is +15R circuit, but if you have LED control module, then you need +30 circuit or +15. Actually it's a lot easier to connect to battery jump post or to front SAM compared to cig lighter. If you don't have led control module, then you must connect to +15.

I have been thinking more about this mod. If there is a way to have the fog lights reprogrammed to run as day time running lights they we are laughing... The LEDS plug into the original sockets and they will come on and off with the car on... Bam. Done. Can this be changed in Xentry Developer mode?

If you plan to install the DRL Controller suggested by "Doanster", all you do is to connect the controller directly to the Battery.
I have been thinking more about this mod. I amwondering if there is a way to fabricate a connector to install the lightsdirectly to the side marker light socket? This would disable the side markerlight permanently which I want to do anyways. Seems like if this were possible,it would be a pretty clean plug and play install. Any thoughts to the wiringguys?

Same. I want the DRLs to turn on when the engine is on, off when the engine is off. That's it. And with the least complicated, error free method possible of course.

When you turn the key, the DRLs turn on. Take the key out, a few secs later, they turn off.
If you never try to activate the fogs by pulling the headlight switch outward, then you'll never get any error messages.
