Can Mercedes Benz build cars with leftover parts?
Got a loaner while my car was a Benzel Busch Mercedes Benz of Englewood NJ while my car had some work done. And here are my findings.
Gray exterior, Beige Trim, Camel Rugs, Wood Trim and Brown Dashboard. At the beginning I didn't noticed but as pays went by, I noticed the lack of coordination in the interior of the car. It was badly put together. When I asked the advisor he told me that they have 4 like that.
Is it possible that MB Is building cars with the purpose of becoming loaners?

Benz Germany would never allow that. Very bad for the brand. One wonders if these cars were stripped of certain parts for spares or to meet certain customer requests & then cobbled back together as loaners ~ not a good practice. Loaners should be a showcase for that model.

What is wrong with that combo? Gray exterior and beige seats and inner door trim with brown upper dash, brown steering wheel, and brown upper door trims. With wood. It's very common. You can get that interior with any exterior color.
Am I reading your post wrong?

Now that I re-read it you make a good point.
If you look at a Benz sales brochure they split combos up as recommended, possible & not recommended.

Down here in DC that brown/beige interior treatment is only slightly less popular than black with walnut. I wish the ash/black combo was more available, I would have seriously considered that but I was happy to simply find a Luxury (Elegance) trim with my preferred options and exterior color. Would have happily accepted the "classy" brown/beige.

Perhaps you are asking about a mis-build vs leftover parts. Plants are run on the basis of in-sequence production with just in time delivery. The parts arrive as needed, packaged in the same sequence that the vehicles are moving down the line.
That color combination was released for production by the color and trim engineers, or the possibility exists that an error in coding allowed that combination to be released. Either way, the parts are undoubtedly fresh, and with a dealer having four of the same, the vehicles were built as ordered.
BTW, I've had more than one car in the charcoal grey family with tan values in the interior, although usually with a black instrument panel, but the brown IP is within reason of the balance of the interior.

Not here in the US. It's a free-for-all... add in Designo for the cars that can get it, and there are some very questionable combinations. They don't break down recommendations.

Oh really! How wierd. In that case I like the recommendations in the international model brochures. They show you everything available with good samples & then a recommendations table.

That is a standard color scheme. My wife had a 2011 C300 4matic with Steel Grey exterior and the Almond/Mocha interior. The dash is Mocha (dark brown) and the seats and door sides are almond. Looks great with the burl wood option. The steering wheel is from the luxury models though, no sport steering wheel with flat bottom in this color scheme. How do I know? Bought a C350 Coupe with Almond/Mocha and the steering wheel is round. There is comment in the brochure in small print informing you that you will not get the sport wheel that comes with Ash or Black.

IMHO too many colors for the interior not to mention that if the car is Gray there is no match. Is like wearing Green chinos with a red flanel shirt, you can only get away with is during Xmas.
