QUESTIONS about installing c63 style rear diffuser/quad exhaust tips to my 2012 C250

I own a 2012 C250 (RWD) {W204}

I would like to install the C63 style quad exhaust tips and rear diffuser to my C250. But since I only have one muffler wouldn't I have to purchase another one? If someone could tell me EVERYTHING I need to make this conversion successful and easy that would be great! Such as, is there an entire conversion kit for sale somewhere (with all the pieces, screws, bolts, etc.)? Any/all info would be helpful!

Ebay has conversion kits. They split the pipe at your single muffler and route it perpendicular to the other set of tips. Not sure how it works for exhaust smoke distribution, you might get more fumes out of the one side.

Something like this: http://www.ebay.ca/itm/Benz-W204-C20...678655&vxp=mtr

I believe the link you showed me @JaredP for the conversion kit requires welding. Do you know of any kits that just use bolts/screws?

I don't even know of a conversion kit for V6 engines that doesn't require welding... It's a pretty big job for the C250, you'll almost definitely need to weld.

Buy something like this:
Quad tips
http://www.ebay.com/itm/Mercedes-Benz-C250-C200-C300-C350-C63-W204-Quad-Exhaust-Tips-AMG-/231098380966?pt=Motors_Car_Truck_Parts_Accessories&hash=item35ce8972a6&vxp=mtrDiffuser for quad tips
http://www.ebay.com/itm/Mercedes-Benz-C-Class-W204-12-13-C63-Style-Rear-Diffuser-/181238359889?pt=Motors_Car_Truck_Parts_Accessories&fits=Year%3A2012%7CModel%3AC250&hash=item2a32a5e751&vxp=mtrThen go somewhere that does welding and if you want put some mufflers otherwise just leave it like a straight pipe

The kit doesn't require welding. It's secured with clamps. Car Shine http://www.carshine.com.au/index.htm...ccessories.htm in AU sells the same conversion kit, albeit for a little more. Here's a brief video of them installing the conversion kit on a C250:

Also, here are some additional photos of the conversion kit:

AMG tips? Don't be a poser. Instead, there's another post of a quad exhaust by Becker. Looks better, and probably get more performance from your engine. I'm not against modding, but I will not put anything on mine (C63) to make it look like a black series or a 507 even though I really like the vents on the 507 and BS. I won't do it. But that's just me. The Becker exhaust does look better and will breathe better.

And the video clip shows an "AMG" badge on the Bootlid. Really?

While I'm not against quad tips or installing the C63 diffuser or C63 wheels on regular C-Classes, this set-up is pretty lame.

+1 Black Lavender. I'm not against modding at all. I've modded mine. Just don't like the video with the AMG badging. What happens if that C300 came across a real C63? I think it's in Australia.... On that note, check out this clip
. Comparing the c63 AMG against a V8 super car and a F1. (In Australia ).

Hey buddy, let's run your c63 ours broke down... Ah ah...

Not to hate, but your misrepresenting. (BMW fans notice, and modded M3's cremate them.)

The tips and diffuser are fine. The badge is stupid and the only thing that will make you look like a poser.

I started the Becker thread. That's what I am thinking about installing on my C250. I'm passing along information here since there was interest in the conversion kit, but I agree the becker looks better and will provide better performance for about the same cost .

It is a clean kit and great option if you do not want to change the exhaust.

I just got a $75 or a little more $77 C63 diffuser for the c250 off of eBay and i bought the AMG replica tips off eBay for $200 although i could have saved money and went with generic tips. I got a full straight pipe from the second-cat back (took out resonator and muffler) all for $180 and the car sounds AMAZING!! I just got a big-fin carbon diffuser from a buddy of mine parting out his c250 though
