Has anyone seen these headlights for sale anywhere else?

Has anyone seen these headlights for sale anywhere else, and with the black housing? I contacted the company selling these and asked why they were charging so much for shipping, and they replied with one of the dumbest replies possible about shipping:

"Sorry mate, we have contract with Australia POST only, the rate is fixed by them.
However,
these lights are not compatable with US roads"

The op posted lights with the FL C made for Pre-FL, much different than the lights you posted MJ50. It's actually the first time I've seen these lights, they might look better in black. Good luck with your search.

Probably because Australia is a right hand drive country thus having headlights with different beam patterns.

I really appreciate it, but those are not the ones I was looking for. These have the fluorescent looking "C" on the side to mimic the newer facelift lights. I would like to have the facelift lights, but I cannot get a straight answer on what I would have to do, and to what extent to upgrade the front of my car. I was going to put a Suvneer C63 Facelift Style front bumper on it and get the rest of the kit, but if I change the lights I know I will have to change the hood as well, and I am not sure about substructure, brackets, etc. After asking someone else about it, now I am hearing I would have to also change the fenders?

I think I will just park it for a while and go back to running people off the road in my GT-R... When I get bored I know I can always take my frustration out in Godzilla.

That is exactly what I was looking for, those in black. I figured if I couldn't find the black ones I could always have the housings painted by one of my shop guys that did it to my GT-R. He scared the hell out of me when he stuck the lights in the oven at the office lol. Later after my heart attack he explained that was the only way to open them up.

Isn't there someone on this forum with connections at Spyder Lights? I wonder if they are going to make something like those from Ausieland? I know they would sell.

From what I remember, to update to FL you'll need hood, fenders, bumper and of course lights. Oddly, Pre-FL can use FL bumper with minor gaps by the grill and under the headlight. Based on that.......you shouldn't need the fenders if you're converting to FL no?

Also, I wouldn't recommend you get the chrome and try to put them in the oven. As far as aftermarket tech for lights has come, even the new ones use sub-par materials which may or may not melt in the oven (one guess how I know lol). Might I recommend you just use a smoke tint over the headlights? I had it done to my lights recently even though it was against my better judgement but it's significantly reduced the chrome of the OEM headlights without reducing the light output very much.

Toast does make a point, you probably shouldn't use these lights anyways if they were made for the RHD market. You'll lose valuable visibility on the road not to mention possible blind opposing cars.

Yikes, so you melted them huh? Yeah that would suck. I guess the the GT-R's headlights would be put together a lot better than these, thanks for saving me from making a post-toastie full of led's lol. It makes me wonder though why the usual little copy cat headlight places haven't been all over the idea of the older W204 headlight with the new "C" in the corner? They have to be selling good for the new FL models because that is just about all you see now. It surprises me that Spyder didn't jump on this one before anybody else.

These are the best looking aftermarket lights I have come across, however think it would only fit the FL model cars. So if you were ever to do the FL I think these would be the best ones to get at the moment. They are not cheap, granted much cheaper then OEM. Not sure if anyone on here has tried them out or how much work would go into actually making them work as far as wiring would go.

Seems to be the same headlights this company is using as well

Let me know what they say, and if they have pics of their model. I am definitely in to buy a set.

On Alibaba I was quoted $950 shipped for one set. Only way to get the cheaper price shown is if you buy 5 pair at a time. That would require some type of group buy. It still may be possible to negotiate the price some, not sure. I as well would be interested in what kind of price Sonicr quotes. I have a feeling it is going to be high.

I must have misunderstood, these are for the facelift model. The ones I am looking for are for 2008-2011 that look like the facelift model lights with the "C" in the corner.

Yeah, sorry if I had not made that more clear. I know you had mentioned you were considering doing the facelift. If you did decide to these would easily be the best looking lights at the moment in my opinion. Closest to matching the newer OEM ones. But between these and then doing the facelift would be starting to get pretty expensive for you.

There is probably enough people interested in a group buy for those headlights from Alibaba, myself being one of those people. I've just never done one, and don't really know how to go about doing one.

I've yet to see anyone install and review them on their own either. There was an eBay seller that listed and sold quite a few of them for $1300 a pop, I wonder where all those people went. Someone on some MB forum must have installed them.

These are for the 07-11 w204. My first time seeing these. And I like them better than the 12-up big C aftermarket lights
