Those two rear SAM screws are a pain to remove/replace without the correct tools.
You need a 1/4 inch compact ratcheting bit driver because there isn't much space near those rear screws.
I made my own tool using (below):
Insert the bit into the wrench and put some tape on both ends of the bit. The tape will keep it from falling out of the wrench. I lost two bits before I got smart.
ratcheting wrench and 2 inch T-20 bit.
Those back screws added 2 hours to my install and I had to keep running to Home Depot to buy new torx bits because my fat fingers kept dropping them down the engine compartment.
The star looks good, but I didn't realize it was only lit when the engine is turned on.

The star does not light up when the doors are locked/unlocked.

I will fix that later.

Sadly, this method only provides power when the car is running.

This weekend I will tap a fuse, (someone mentioned fuse #23) in the SAM to provide power when the doors are locked/unlocked and also when the car is running.

Looks like a pretty good copy.
