mercedes c63 style bumper parking sensor holes

Hi. I have purchased a c63 style facelift bumper for mercedes c180 elegance facelift. The problem is that there are only 4 holes for the parking sensors on the new bumper and on my old bumper there are 6 holes for the parking sensors. My car was involved in an accident and have decided to put a c63 style bumper on there. So my question is-

1) will the wiring loom for the 6 parking sensors work?

2) how do i get the parking sensors to work?

I have heard that all sensors need to be connected for the parktronic system to work.

I NEED HELP!!!!

On non Distronic cars the two centre sensors moved down into the air intake grill at facelift on AMG. Suggest you do this too.

How will this be done? D o i have to drill 2 more holes in the bumper? I really do not have a clue on this topic. I'm baffled with these parking sensors. Are all the parking sensors themselves the same? And does anybody know the size of the parking sensors?

Here is a picture that shows all the sensors on a non Distronic car properly. You will have to measure because Benz has used multiple sizes. I presume this is the bumper plastic you have bought. 4 sensors in the bumper & 2 in the lower air intake grill.

The bumper has only 4 sensor holes. And the grill has 2 holes aswel. so the sensors are 6 in total. so are all the sensors the same across the bumper?

Yes they are all the same rear mount sensors. The two in the grill have bezels (button mount)

so i'l have to buy 6 identical sensors for the front bumper which 4 will fit in the bumper and 2 in the air intake grill.

Whats the difference between rear mount sensors and bezels (button mount)?

Yes.

There is no difference between the sensors. They are all rear mount but the ones in the grill either have a little bezel around them or the bezel is part of the grill. When you remove your damaged Partronic bumper the mounting method will be obvious & needs to be replicated.

BTW ~ what is wrong with your old sensors or were they damaged in the accident?

If you can't use the old sensors is you new bumper genuine or a copy?

Another way to ensure the correct sensors is to find a C63 with the correct bunper & copy it's VIN. Then order against that VIN.
