2010 C300 & 2014 E350
2010 C300 (40K mile service changed by MBUSA)
On my 2010 C300 at 30K miles last year I prepaid for 2 service maintenances for $1,100. The service advisor repeatedly told me it was a GREAT deal because my next service at 40K miles would be covered and it included service B, brake fluid, and tranny fluid.
I'm now at 40K miles and the service advisor told me that MBUSA made a change to the service requirements and didn't require the tranny service until 70K miles.
I called MBUSA to confirm and they told me tranny service is no longer required EVER.
I basically paid $1,100 for service A and service B. What a rip-off because I just did pre-paid maintenance on my 2014 E350 for service A and service B for $729.
What is the consensus? Is MBUSA helping the dealers cheat their customers?
Any and all advice is appreciated whether in this forum or private messages.

What does your owners manual say? Mine says that engines 272 with 7G Tronic require tranny service at 39k miles. Engines 271 and 276 with 7 Plus require 70k tranny service.
A refund or a tranny service is in order.

#2. If somehow, someway, MBUSA did in fact decide to screw all of their pre-2013 W204 customers over, then those customer are entitled to a refund. $1100 for two oil changes and a brake fluid change? Ya right.

I had my trans ( i cant get used to the idea of calling it a tranny ) service done at 60k miles on my 09 c300 4matic which included the oil in the torqe coverter . Basically i thought it was not needed because i owned many cars and never had a trans oil change done .. That is until i watched what came out of my car ... The trans oil was very dark ....brownish like . It was obviously very dirty .
