That's WAY overkill if you ask me. That screams "look at my MERCEDES ****!!!!!!!!"
I could see something like this on an s class or something, but the owner would probably try to figure out how to turn it off, lol!
Illuminated door sills (those are actually pretty cool) are about as far as I would go personally.

Ok. I ordered four! I couldn't resist. I will post pics later for your amusement and ridicule.

The 2013-2014 Mustangs have this as an option. It shines a huge pony on the ground. My father likes it on his stang. Mercs though.....you dont really need it in my opinion.

I bought a pair a while ago. Have not installed them though. I figured when I get around to putting a sound system in my car I would decide if I want to add them while I have the door panels off anyway. I also thought about mounting one in the trunk to project on the trunk floor when it is open, and the other on the front of the car wired to turn on when the hood is open. About the only ricey thing I ever considered.
