You'll have more clearance with the shorter unit.
As for the link to the Diamond Visions, those look like counterfeit.

Your low beams and high beams are both H7s. Phillips diamond vision (5000k) give off so little light that they are not even road legal. I run phillips crystal vision (4700k), which still aren't road legal, but give off enough light to be usable. There is a big tradeoff with "white" colored halogen bulbs. They achieve their "whiteness" by restricting a large chunk of the light spectrum from being emitted with a filter, limiting brightness.
If you have a 2014, buy the projector lens replacement headlights which look exactly like OEM bixenons. There is a 8 or 9 page thread usually on the front page about these lights.

Like you said, at first Diamond Vision looked great, then I started reading and people noticed a massive drop in brightness when in rain, thus they are not road legal.

Anyone using Philips new range of WhiteVision rated 4300K with 60% more light?
I'm considering them along with OSRAM Cool Blue Intense rated 4200K with 20% more light and Philips Crystal Vision rated 4300K no idea how much more light on this one.
Really interested in the WhiteVision, specs wise they look pretty ideal, as we recently bought a used Mercedes C Class and the front headlights were giving out two different colors, one side warmer than the other.
I'm trying to achieve a Whiter effect too.
