2026 GLC300 4Matic (X254)

C250 - 1 or 2 batteries? Where?

Hi all.

I have searched my Owners Manual. No battery references, not even instructions for "jumping" the car in cases of dead battery.

I understand some MBs have two batteries (one for start-stop?) and they can be under seats?

For the basic C250 CGI with M271 Evo engine, where is our battery or batteries?

Here is the video of the w203 battery location. The batter in our c250 is located in the exactly same place as the video shows the only difference is the air box design. Check it out

Thanks. Do W204 have auxiliary batteries? Or is it just that one battery under the hood?

I'm not 100% sure but I think the aux battery is located in the trunk.

2009 C300 W204

Mine is a 2009 C300 4MATIC SPORT W204, I couldn't locate it in the trunk beside the spare tire. Any idea what is the Auxiliary battery ?

It's in the trunk. You gone have to remove one of the side panels. I don't remember if it's left or right side.

Thanks for the tips. Just checked trunk and opened the right side panel (no access to left panel). No Battery...... may be i don't have one afterall....
