Weathertech anyone?
looking to get some winter mats for my C300. New England weather is starting to get crazy and I just got this car.
I was thinking at the computer one that weathertech makes tailored for the C300. Anyone with feedback using and buying these?

I've had the custom "floor liners" and trunk mat. All fit perfectly...well made. But, my heel slips on the material which made the pedal action with my size 12 feet occasionally tricky.

+2. Totally worth getting. I have them for my Front seats and they really help keep the car clean (didn't get the back since I dont really use the back seats). I would just say to make sure you keep you old mats somewhere safe in case you ever need them again.

I forgot to mention that I only got the front ones as well, because it is usually just me in the car. So depending on your use, you may or may not need front and back.

How is the back lip on the weather tech mats? I was reading elsewhere that its really low on the c series leading to melted snow sloshing out the back under acceleration where all the under seat electronics are.

In SoCal, I would agree. But north of the Mason-Dixon, they lack the critical raised edge of WeatherTech all the way around to keep slush, often crusted with salt, from sloshing onto the carpet. Choose mats based on the geographical challenge they will face!

Tried weathertech twice, both sets didn't fit as well as OEM. They kept moving around (didn't fit the two little holes that are supposed to keep the mats in place). they also felt thinner then OEM. they were also more expensive than OEM.
Went back to OEM and never looked back. If weathertech was significantly cheaper than OEM (say 50% less) then I would buy them, but since they are the same and sometimes more expensive than OEM, it's a no brainer to go OEM.

Wish I was there for the sunshine!
I noted at my MB dealer's parts department here in snowy Michigan that WeatherTech must be offering the OE manufacturers their product for reselling. There is a display for a dead-ringer for WeatherTech at the counter in the dealership! We need deep lips!

I live in the frozen tundra called Minnesota. I got my first MB a couple of months ago and since WeatherTech is very popular here, for obvious reasons, I decided to buy them. After a month of snow, ice and an incredible amount of salt I can give you some honest feedback.
I got the Digital fit mats because my sister in law has them and she loves them. I have to say that I was expecting a more polished product. Don’t get me wrong, I love them. But my first impression was “meh”.
First of all: the fit is not perfect. If your car doesn't have the retention mechanism to keep the mats in place, since they're plastic, the slide all over the place. I have the retention mechanism on the driver's side, but not in the passenger’s side. I contacted WeatherTech about this and they sent me velcro. It works but it's not what you expect giving what you pay for them.
Another issue is the resting area for the driver's left foot and the gas pedal. The oem all-weather mats cover the whole resting area for the left foot, but the WeatherTech only covers half. This is a major design issue. It forces you not to use this area if your shoes have snow in them and you don't want to ruin the carpet. Seriously, I don't get it. I complained about this to WeahterTech and they told me that "due to manufacturing constraints involved in the thermoforming manufacturing process the left side is limited to a height of approximately five vertical inches”. Really?
The other problem is the gas pedal. The mat doesn't cover the lower part very well so the snow of your shoes slip below the mat and the carpet at the base of the gas pedal is always a mess. Although, to be fair, I don't know how they would have fix that.
Last, the sides of the mats are a nice thing to have. It protects the side carpet from snow or anything you throw at them. However, they don't fit perfectly and the one on the passenger's side is a little bend.
Anyway, all and all, I think they're are expensive for what they are. Although they're probably one of the best mats for this kind of weather.

Same impressions here. Fit I would say is more like 90-95%. Definitely not 100%. They slip and slide all over the place (back rows especially - front row has high enough raised edge to keep in place), and should make them with the little spikes on the bottom. I ended up velcroing which has a good hold, but make it a pain to remove. I might have gone overboard with the velcro since they were only $1/strip.
The only other complaint I have is the material is very fisher price plastic. I was expecting more of a heavier silicone rubbery material for that price.
Price was more than oem but I was sold on the raised edges and supposed "laser fit".
