Question I was quoted $875 for new brakes?

Today my Check Brake Pad Wear warning came on. Last year during the 30,000 mile service I was warned that my brakes will need to be changed soon. Right now the car has 36,000 miles. I emailed my service advisor and he quoted me $875 for the front brake pads and rotors and rear brake pads (parts and labor). Is that a fair price? How much did you pay for your brakes change? Happy New Year!

Can you change the brakes and rotors by yourself? It will save you a lot of money.
If you can't do that by yourself, try finding an independent Mercedes shop, it'll save you some money.

I paid about 200$ for parts, including new front rotors, akebono pads front and rear.

And took about 45 minutes to do.. i would NEVER pay 800$+ for brakes no matter the brand of the car.

Where did you buy the parts? Is there a good website that sells Mercedes Benz parts?

Reasonable prices on Mercedes parts. You can compare them against other websites on prices:
