Wrapped my front grill

Well nothing on today so decided to remove the plastidip from my front grill and wrap it with vinyl instead. I removed all the chrome pieces. More than happy with the results even if the star was a totally nightmare to wrap !!!

Plasti dip v vinyl.

Star was a bit of a pig to remove

Wrapping it was even less fun

Not bad for a first attempt

Looks so much better now.

Great job. This looks much better than plasti-dip.

I would have just painted the star. Its not expensive to replace if you want chrome again.

You go ahead and do it your way then

For a piece of plastic the star is expensive. If I had painted it there would be no guarantee of a colour match to the rest of the trim I wrapped.

It gave me more satisfaction wrapping than shaking a rattle can of paint at it. Plus if I want to go back to chrome I just peel off the wrap.
