I just buy the second hand c200 fl av blue efficiency 2012, I have some question for 7g gear box.
frist my 7g gearbox just have s and e mode functions

When i use +/- shift, why just can up D6 not D7
same at the following,D1,D2,D3,D4,D5,D6 and return to D

It is meant to be a gear limiter (for downhill driving) and not a manual shifter. Dynamic handling packages allow for manual shifting and will have paddle shifters on the wheel.

you mean the gearbox have D7, but the gearsbox limited the speeds, so i cannot use the D7 ,i try at high way about speed up to 100 km, but also cannot up to D7

I'm not sure myself. I'm just going by what the owner's manual says. Without dynamic handling package (which would have paddle shifters on the wheel) the +/- functions as a top gear limiter. So D and D7 would be the same thing.

So if you put it in D4, the car will run gears 1-4 as normal but not shift past 4th. That is until the rev limiter is hit and then it would upshift.

You cannot "up" to D7 because D means the entire gear range is available. D6 is the final gear limitation option. "D" is technically D7

Oh, do you have a manual mode on your car? I think the C250 with the Sports Plus package has that.

The car would have red stitching, paddle shifters, sport button above the climate control, 18 inch wheels and an M button down by the shifter.
