Megan Racing Exhaust
Hi guys,
I just installed the Megan Racing cat back system in my car. If you're on the fence on getting it, please do. Great fit and great sound...

I've been thinking about buying this exhaust also. A sound clip would be great. Hey Brightside are those the AG M590 wheels in your sig. I ordered a 19" wheel/tire set for mine and those look like M590's. Sharp wheel. Paired up w/the Michelin Pilot Supersports.
Edit: I checked some of your older posts Brightside. They are the M590's. Mine should be here next week.

I watched a bunch of sound clips for other cars and this does seem to sound pretty good. Probably lost some pounds too over the stock exhaust.

PM sent. My concern is with any droning noise at highway speeds. I spent almost 2 grand on a Dinan exhaust for my last car and to me it was droney, dronish, dronerific...I'm gettin' stupid. The website actually lists the db levels at various rpm's but is that standing behind the car, in the car, it doesn't specify. My neighbor has an RX-8 with an aftermarket exhaust and it sounds horrible. Another guy down the street has a caddy CTS with cans and it sounds horrible. My Dinan cans had some drone at highway speeds (not a lot but still there) but boy did they sound good when I got on it. I think the caddy is a 4 popper and the RX-8 is a rotary engine. The clips I focused on youtube were the G37's and some e46 and e90's. There was only 1 benz I found and it was a C63. The v8's I listened to sounded frikkin' just awesome btw.

Looks good. Post some drive bys, interior noise lvls at highway speeds. etc. You'll get hella views. Inquiring minds want to know. Thanks bud. Glad your happy with the new w204 exhaust and are willing to share info on an affordable mod for our cars. Meistershaft and Carlsonn prices are like...really? Prolly good systems mind you but damn 1800 and up for some cans?

Yeah, I been wanting to do the exhaust for a long time but did not want to spend over $2k for one. Not that I'm cheap or nothing, is not justified for our cars. Once I saw this one, I was a bit concerned about the cost but Megan Racing do make a reliable parts. The price was right so I pull the trigger. When the exhaust arrived at home, I was blown away on the quality and how it looked. So I took it to my indi Benz shop in Miami, at first they told me they may need to do some welding to make it fit but 2 hours later, it was a true bolt on. I love the sound and how it looks.

Thanks for the info. Is there an X pipe on the C350 version of the exhaust. Looks like there is on the pics above. If so I can skip the magnaflow x pipe and the welding.

My car is a 350 coupe. Will they fit. On their website it shows sedan and no one seems to read the C coupe section on this forum.
Thanks again

Just wanted to update. Spoke to Megan and this in fact does not fit a coupe. Just thought I would update the thread
Thanks Makito

Ok great! I’ve been considering buying this but I don’t want the noise levels, especially drone, too high inside the cabin so I think I may try this route!
i also noticed that they make an exhaust for the C63 with the dual tips and also has 2.5” piping. I may try this one and see how the fitment is since it’ll fit my C63 diffuser out of the box.

@Frnakito71 - looks great. I’m looking at this system because the welds on my resonator just cracked, and the OEM part is $1100. My only question is does the replacement of the resonator with an x-pipe cause any emissions testing issues? I’m in NY and each state inspection comes with an emissions test. The resonator isn’t a catalytic converter right? Thanks for any advice you have.
