Hi,

Does anyone have this 1 fin grill and know what star it uses? I have illuminated star and also want a 1 fin.

2016 AMG S65, AMG GL63, 2012 AMG E63 With AMS Alpha 9 Package, Renntech 200 Catted Downpipes.
Not liking the rear, it looks like a GLA rear. Interior is nice and the 9 speed transmission is a plus.

If the exterior on the new E63 is like that, I will be getting the 2016.

I think the new E43 rear looks like the GLA rear. I love the idea of the 9 speed and the interior reminds me of my S65 which is a really needed interior upgrade.

Still would probably get the 2017 E63 when it comes out.

Auction states it uses an OEM star. I don't see why the illuminated star wouldn't fit. Also, I think a black mesh would look better with that grill.

Doesn't state which OEM one though, could be ML OEM star like most aftermarket. The mesh does look dark but not sure if black.
