Can not remove key from MB C300 Please help

Hello to you all, I am really frustrated that my car won't start up and the key fob is stuck. I am worried on why this happened due to my car only having 36k miles, it is an 09 model btw. May someone please help me out on how I can safely remove the key. Thank you

This may read as obvious but if you have an auto then foot on brake, put in park, turn key totally off and pull key out.

I tried that so basically the key does not want to turn into the position 0, which is the position the key can be removed and inserted. As for moving the gear, the only way I can move it is by removing the leather component and pressing this yellow button that allows me to move the gear. Therefore, the gear is on park and foot off the pedal but still will not turn to the position 0

Is it not in park?

If it is in park put it in reverse then adjust vehicle back to normal pos, park and turn.

It is in park. Im not sure if the problem is the Electrical Ignition system that failed of Electrical steering lock. The strange thing is that I was listening to music when it suddenly shut off and then the problem arose.

Ahh, may not be of ay help but I wondered whether you had run the battery down using the radio.

I would check whether your battery is serviceable or maybe recharge it overnight.

Good luck.

Check your battery. What year is your car? Still have the original battery?

Solved #Blessed

Ok everyone thank you for giving me tips on what to do so I found the solution. I contacted a family friend whom is an expert in mercedes and owns a shop that repairs european cars. Charging my battery did help because that is one of the reasons why my car turned off, but the real issue was the key getting stuck. Therefore, the solution was fixing a part on the break pedal. Apparently it was faulty and it would not release the key. So what he did before replacing the part he removed the cover of the gear shifter pressed a yellow switch that allows you to move the gears and pushed the gear with force to park. While doing so he also moved the brake pedal and pulled the key.
