Squeaking belt help

So i have a squeak coming from my belt. I think it might be the tensioner, but i'm not sure. Anyone have an idea on what squeaks first generally on the W204? I know this is a random question and could be any of the idlers, just hoping for more ideas. I used my stethiscope and was not able to determine which one was the culprit.

I would say that if you did the stethoscope then it's not the tensioner or idler---keep looking and have you noticed any belt ware!!

With the stethoscope it was loudest at the tensioner, it just wasn't a high pitch sound like I was hearing. Of course the sound tends to go away when it warms up. No belt ware.

Perfect! Do you happen to know the part number? I looked on their site and didn't see any that came with the belt.

Would you recommend the full rebuild/replace of the idler and tensioner pulleys once the belt wears out? My original belt on my '09 is making a little bit of noise when cold @ 70k miles and I am sure it is nearing end of life due to dry rot. Just curious if I don't have pulley noise yet if I should just replace them when I do the belt.

Thanks in advance!

I picked up the belt kit. I was surprised to find I didn't have E-torx bits considering I have a Snap on box full of tools. Does anyone know the size you need for the tensioner bolts?

I just did my tensioner, I had noise from belt (literally just replaced it 10 minutes ago). Sound is gone and its smooth. $30 win. I believe the torx screws are E13. Check "pelicanparts c300 diy" and there should be a diy with all the info.
