4Matic Brake Rotors & Pads

So I'm going to replace my rear pads and rotors cause it's time.
I've established through research that Zimmerman rotos and Akebono pads are the best options, although if you have other suggestions let me know.
I'd like to find the part numbers as I'm hearing conflicting numbers corresponding to their models, some say one thing others say another, so help there would be appreciated. Thanks!

I am also looking at Bosch quietcast rotors.
these 2 sites are where most w204 parts are found.
Also Rockauto has some parts, very few but like my Akebono pads I got from there.
Parts are available for these cars but very scattered, russia has a lot of oem parts that the west cant get.

I do have staggered wheels - 32,350 miles (and a lot a brake dust from those OEM pads).
......reckon I'd buy start saving my USNR drill pay for pad replacement before too long.
appreciate your response, amigo
ez
The Akebono pads are ceramic anddon't dust as much as the oem pad and they are suppose to be better for your rotor.
I have the ziimerman and akebonon pads on the front of my car and after 45Kmiles there is still a lot of material left. And the rotors look like new. I will be putting a new set of rotors and pads on this weekend. The rears need to be done after 88k miles.
Hope this helps

A light may come on when its time. If they're warped or something the sooner the better.
Does anyone have specific numbers for 2010 c300 4matic sport? EUR1302 or 1300? Or something?
Also my front pads and rotors were new when I got the car. I've done 6k miles and they look ugly cause of brake dust (yes I try to clean) they drive fine so I may just do rears, depending on price.
They may work for you guys as most of you are in the US but here in Canada, no bueyno.
Good to know about the zinc covered rotors though. I don't think that's enough to push me away from OEM but good to know. Danke!

Also ceramic don't chew up rotors like someone above said. They are capable of breaking harder (duh) and maintaining rotor rigidity, whereas if you "broke" the same with semi-metal or whatever it would do more damage.
Then again we all have different experiences so not here to call out anyone negatively that has a different experience from mine.

I remember doing 1xx km/hr for an extended period of time (late night driving) (xx because I don't want to incriminate myself...) and then having to slam on the brakes. That was not a fun experience (it was probably -20'C in the winter).
Ever since then I've stuck to OEM. I understand that it's more of a pain (brake dust) but b/c I had a "poo has come out" moment I've stayed away from ceramic, LOL
PS - I do realize my situation was pretty unique. It was an emergency maneuver which kicked off the safety system that detects that it's an emergency brake and thus applies full brake. The performance that was given to me by ceramic brake pads was not up to what I was hoping for.
Then again we all have different driving styles and drive in different climates so what may work for you may work well indeed! Just thought I'd point this out.

...normal driving on quality rotors and ceramics should last a long time for the normal person, and there are "different" ceramic versions/blends depending on what you want.
Also the part number for the rear Akebonos is EUR1341.

Also does zimmerman make slotted/drilled rear pads? just for cosmetic sake - if not I don't mind.

Also totally understandable the experience you guys had. I'll give em a shot, even so I'll still have semi-metallic in the front for now. Possibly a good combo? Haha.

The front Akebono part number for the US spec C300 is EUR1340.
EUR1342 is for the C350 and the Canadian spec C300 (which has the C350 rotors and pads).

Akebono pads are here as well if needed: http://www.pelicanparts.com/catalog/..._pg1.htm#item0
