Have a c300 2011 no media interface package
hello everyone. I recently bought a 2011 C300 and has no ipod integration at all. I really would like to know what should I do if I want to stream music from my Iphone 7 plus. Thank you for your help.

Do you have an aux jack in the glove box?
If so, you can buy a bluetooth adapter to plug in the 1/8" jack.
I have no audio/media package in my car, just the basic Audio 20 but I do have the aux jack in my glove box so I can plug an ipod in. I just plan on buying a Bluetooth adapter so I can use a newer ipod nano.

Sorry, I'm not an expert with this question, but I thought A2DP streaming was standard in the W204 so any phone that supports it can stream music?
Did the ability to do this really require a package? yikes!

Sadly A2DP streaming is not standard. My C350 CDI has the full COMAND system but not Bluetooth streaming. I had to buy a Bluetooth to 30 pin adapter to stream music from my phone. I cannot say I was enormously impressed to find this to be the case.

Did you already have the media interface and then bought an adapter for bluetooth audio? Or were you able to buy a bluetooth adapter and install it from scratch?

I wrote another post recently about this which you should be able to find if you search for Bluetooth streaming.
Even if you only have an aux socket this approach ought to work, although Bluetooth to aux adapters need a separate power supply.
It's not a perfect solution but it got me 80% of where I wanted to be.

isnt it crazy this was only 5 or so years ago? frustrating. there are some pretty good work arounds available on the market. However, there are a LOT of devices to pick through to find the right one. it took me a while as well.
i even tried going full old school and plugging in a click wheel ipod of the same year as the vehicle, and the ipod os has changed so much even that was a mess over comand.

Thought about the suggested Bluetooth adaptor connected to aux port, but found the charging the unit every few days a bit cumbersome. Just ordered this on Amazon, which seems promising ()
