Quote: Maybe because you keep changing your **** stories. In the other thread you said you were going "about 45" as that was the speed limit, but maybe above because you slowed down or some bs, and now youre saying 35.

I don't care if you bought your own car, and I haven't really mentioned your parents that mcch as oppossed to others. I don't understand how you're so ignorant as to not realize the mistakes you make. OBVIOUSLY you did NOTHING right, because you're here POSTING about every thing you f**k up on. And while we're here online and we only had advice to give you, getting a ticket, whether you get out of it or not, means you messed up. All the damage to your car, means you messed up. This is the internet, its just words out here, but you're out there living your reality. Say what you want, but you admitted what happened by starting these threads. I'm not sure how no one can get into your brain, especially your parents, I can only imagine how they feel. You're lucky your dads a mechanic, so you dont have extreme repair payments on top of the (base, without ticket) insurance.

Honestly bro. Just think about it. If you have a track near you, use it. Just be careful on the streets, cause at the end of the day, you want to get back home in one piece, along with everyone else on the road.
Honestly I do take responsibility, but I don't understand the hatred. You guys are grown so you should act more mature, you express your anger on here by hatred and disrespect . I want you all to tell me if you have gotten pulled over and if you received a ticket. I will upload the video and you guys can then judge me. Quit ****ing judging when I say I will upload it, wait till I do then give your opinions .

Quote: I remember a story from a guy in the UK. He uploaded videos showing that he was going 160mph and more on UK highways. He went to jail for 3 years.
My speed doesn't show on the video, nor does my plates or face. America has more things to do, like eat donuts. The cop didn't even search up my driving record, he just went to his friend who also pulled over and wrote up the ticket! He even asked have you ever gotten a ticket before, I told him no. He said on the phone, I want to teach that kid a lesson. He doesn't even know me to even say that D:

It is not just being able to control your car going straight at high speeds. You can never tell when something nexpected happens. At elevated speeds like that your ability to react is so much less. You mention all the old people on the roads down there that don't know how to drive. Looks like you passed a few of them. What would have happened if one of them decided to change lanes out of the blue? Or an animal darted out or someone pulls into the road from a driveway you didn't see or expect. Could be a million scenarios. Luckily it didn't happen this time. Next time, maybe you aren't so lucky. Just like in your first incident where the woman did something you weren't expecting and you either didn't have the time or ability to react quick enough and you damaged your car.

It isn't hate on here. More like frustration as people on here, believe it or not, are trying to help you and either don't get it or don't want to get it.

Not sure exactly what that video is supposed to show, that you were driving so safe and responsibly? All I saw was someone that was speeding and got surprised by poilce using laser. I saw the shadow of your Escort radar/laser detector. How did that work for you in that situation?

Just how bad was the damage from your first incident? Sounded like you needed some new wheels and your hood was crunched up? Can't be too bad if you can still drive your car like that? Are the wheels just scraped does the damage affect how the car drives?

I completely agree. It's frustration, not hate. And, like you just mentioned, anything can happen. I noticed a lot of spots where a turn/u-turn could be made. If people aren't expecting someone driving at that rate of speed it could be deadly. Or, if someone had changed lanes. And, I would also like to know about the current state of his vehicle. If the tires are as bad as described, and there was possible rim damage, the last thing one should do is drive 100 MPH. That's just stupid.

you guys are right, my rims got changed yesterday and it looks new. I noticed my wheel is slanted, something is bent so my dad will be told that. I was driving slow like a snail that day. Stupidity kicked in, I don’t know why but I just wanted to show off. I don’t drive stupid like that all the time, I just got bored . The cops waited to see someone fly by. So in that 3 min of me driving they didn’t see anyone. Makes me look really bad

Young and stupid that is my comment. In my career doing critical care. I have seen more morbidity and mortality due to people doing stupid *** things with cars. This guy will not learn until something bad happens like he kills someone.

Safety, street racing and the law.......Interesting
Your life could change forever, even if you are not directly involved in an accident involving innocent people, but paticipated in a street races on public roads gone wrong, you may have initiated the race.
Read all the links. This sounds more serious than I actually was aware of until now.

Note: Actually every new licence holder should be subject to a day long video session of "how not to drive in Russia" as can be found on Youtube, to see how innocent drivers are sucked in to mahem by irrisponsible drivers, of which most do not have a clue about speed versus changing road circuimstances.

I never street race, the potential danger I could get in always scared me from that. This was just me driving fast, you can see i saw him going fast but no intention was made to street race. I’ve had people come up to me and honk, never once have I taken off. But to be honest, I do take off against someone on stoplights and I see them keep going after I let off. Def won’t try that again, unless I’m certain it’s a road that’s empty and I trust. That being said, I thank you for the post it really helps.

Says it all. If this guy is really 18, I doubt he will make it to 20. I hope he doesn't take anyone else with him. As for his father, this is as good a case for post-natal abortion as I have seen.
