Anyone tried vacuum pump repair kit

My vacuum pump (part# 2722300565) has been leaking oil, which I knew about it but never had chance to repair.
It leaks on large back cover, which there is no individual part, I need to replace whole pump.
While I was looking for the new pump, found a repair kit which comes with new seals.
https://www.rkxtech.com/products/rkx...rebuild-gasket

Wondering, have anyone tried it? New pump $180 vs new seal $30. Looks like this was on-going issue from w203.

Thanks,

I would try that kit, if its just leaking then replacing the seals should do it, the pumps usually dont go and mercedes just screws us by not selling the seals separately, good luck.

So I bought the repair kit, and will report back once I install it.

God luck, it might be a pain in the *** the remove, I replaced my pcv which is on the other side and it was very tight. All i can think of to gain room would be disconnecting the transmission mount and jacking up the back of the transmission slightly, that should give you more then enough room .

Just following up after 6 month.
Mercedes OEM part# is 2722300565
OM part # is 724807410 by Pierburg
DYI to follow

Since I'm cheap guy lol, instead of purchasing brand new vacuum pump for $180, I bought repair kit from RKX Tech. It comes with bunch of O-rings to replace.
So after 6 month, it's still holding up great without any leak!
$30 well spent vs $180 brand new.

How is that vacuum pump holding up? Has the oil leak returned? I'm in the same boat and was looking at that rebuild kit.

OK...thanks. I'll try it. Just such a pain to get it out. It's on a 2007 C280 and there isn't much room back there.
