Note that the knob wont work in most apps, like Spotify or Waze or, alteast mine doesnt. But I can use the "Back button" and "C" button next to the knob to get out of apps etc.

I found out from Chris that it’s a blue tooth antenna. Suppose to improve the quality of the signal. I noticed without it, the blue tooth streaming music will get random clips, although very minor. I’ll have to install the antenna and see if it makes a difference.

Are you sure the scrolling worked before? It's very common that the plastic pin inside the COMAND knob unit breaks, so you can't scroll by turning anymore. Mine doesn't work, haven't since i bought the car. I have to flip the knob to the sides or up/down to scroll through things.

Oh, I didn't expect that. I have installed mine. Not tried streaming anything yet tho.

"This antenna is not for Bluetooth, but for 4G network signal here. But it is no use outside China mainland since the sim card slot of the monitor can not work with sim card outside China."
On the avin units there's a sim slot below the SD card slot. I'll have to check on our unit if there's one there too.

On a side note...are you trying to see how many miles you can exceed your service interval? Haha. You can easily reset the service reminders on your own without the dealer.

Oh I know I can reset it haha. I haven't reset it in a while. Keep forgetting to do it when I change oil. I've just been changing oil every 10k and haven't relied on the reminder. I also have a reminder that I have a faulty fog light I ignore.

I installed the extra antenna today and did rear camera install as well, everything is done now.
No improvement on Bluetooth audio streaming...I mean, after all it wasn't the Bluetooth antenna lol
Google maps works for me, I mean, it's accurate. It's just very slow, seems to be that the unit cannot run it due to lack of performance, or that google map's app is just a performance hog.
Everything works except the annoying freeze/stutter I get from Bluetooth audio streaming.
Can someone on here confirm that they can play music through bluetooth from their phone without any issues? I keep getting stuttering, even when I am not running any other apps. It comes and goes and interrupts the music, very annoying.
Try this, play music from your phone via Bluetooth streaming, then run navigation (for me, its Waze) and while Waze is loading, the music stutters/lags, due to a performance hit while launching the GPS app I assume? The thing is, it also happens when I am not doing anything else...performance shouldn't take a hit.
