Does the touch paint come with clearcoat mixed with it or should you add clearcoat after applying touch up? Is it necessary for clearcoat to be applied over touch up paint?

when i bought my touch up paint, i received one tube of colour and one tube of clear. I used both when I did my touch ups.

Same here. My metallic paint came with clear coat. I never use the clear coat - - I think it make the repair really obvious.

I got just the paint. I guess it depends on the color of the car... mine is polar white.
My touch up paint from the dealer didn’t come with clear coat. Though it is glossy like as if its cleared... my color is black 040. Bought the little bottle with brush, like nail polish for about $30
Yeah the black I got did not come with separate clearcoat, guess I won’t worry about clearcoat isince it’s a small chip.

Mine came without clear coat, but over the winter the small touchups I made got worn away.
