So I drove a B class loaner (2018) today.
I thought I was going mental with my W204 and thus have spent a lot of time shutting it up as you all know.
MB cars today are crap - built poorly and for the mass market with the CLA/B etc etc. Stupid RFTs and everything don't help. Anyways, I took some sound measurements. On the same piece of road on my W204, I measured at 80kmph -61db.
On the stupid B class, 66db.
HOLY SHI*. I will never bitc* about my W204 being noisy again.

I forgot, are you in Canada?
No B class in USA. Although frankly I could care less, I hate them. However the mini van hatchback thing the B class is suppossed to be I would think it would be better, but I could probably assume a lot of noise is from the run flats.
I'd like to have an A45 tho.

2014 Mercedes C350 Coupe
Yea up here in Vancouver, BC, there are so many cla250s and gla250s for the car2go. They're crap, driven like crap, and after only 20,000 km's you can hear everything rattling. I know this because if you hop into one of the car2go cla250s here you'd think you were in a yellowcab taxi.... Such a step down from even the c class. Although I have to admit, I love the DCT transmission in the 250s, as the w204 7g tronic plus is so slow. Weird considering the new C450 also still has the 7g tronic plus, but it is considerably faster.

They are coming to the US starting next year. So far, any you've seen have been Canadian market cars. We get them rarely in south FL from the snowbirds down here for the winter, soon they will be much more common.

Yea actually I might be mixing up videos, I guess it did lose. However, they were all very close, and I actually like hatchbacks that are sporty :P

Yea I gotta admit the A45 is fast AF. Even though it’s the slowest real AMG out there it’s still an AMG. Paired with all wheel drive the initial launch is crazy fast. However, I still don’t like how its engine is tranversly mounted and very front wheel based 4matic; makes for awkward driving on the track. If they made a C250 coupe style frame with the cla45 drivetrain where the 4 cylinder is longitudinal that’ll be sweet!

They should import a hatchback similar to a VW Golf (if such a Mercedes exists) and not the B Class.
