2010 C300 4MATIC........ 2011 C63 AMG.............. 2015 CLS400 4MATIC.....
If you modify it tastefully you'll get thumbs up nearly every day on your daily commute

Don't overdo it like some people on Instagram. Buying everything doesn't mean it all goes together.

People with their 2019 accords will ask you, "what year is that" and then you hit them with a "2010" or something, and they're shocked cause your car looks newer.

If you keep it stock, just enjoy the car as is. If you do maintanence yourself, it's about as cheap as any other car to maintain.

Edit: hey they just added the "thanks" button on mobile

I have the same car and it's joy to drive. Engine oil and filter changes every 10k miles or less is even better. Transmission fluid changes every 70k miles or less. Differential fluid change every 100k miles or less. These are the major items to know and keep on top of.

As for mods if you're into that, the front grille can definitely need an upgrade to a sportier one or at least the stock one but in black. The rest you'll come across here in the forums.

Nothing important to know. Just enjoy it. And follow the maintenance schedule!
It’s a prime candidate for painting the roof black.

Be careful here!

The 7G tronic and the 7G tronic plus has different tranny fluid change intervals. On my non plus versus, it's 60,000KM for changes!

They tend to speed quite a bit.

That's true. The 7G has a 40k miles change interval while the 7G Plus has a 70k miles change interval. However, I'm very surprised that a 2012 C300 4MATIC Sport would have the 7G and not the 7G Plus. Is it because it's a Canadian model? Did you check the ATF pan indentations' shape to verify 7G or 7G Plus?

No idea if it's Canadian specific but the plus version came into effect when the motor switched to the m276 engine in 2013.

That's not accurate and contrary to some common belief. We've discussed this at length in other threads here. The 7G Plus started making its way into the W204 as early as 2011 on some models.

The easiest way to know is to inspect the ATF pan.it has oval, not circular, indentations, then it's the 7G Plus. I can post the pic when I have access to my PC.

Thanks! Live and learn. I thought I was bang on with this one. That said, my manual is explicit in saying that my tranny's service interval is 60K, so I must have the non plus version.
