That Training Manual is interesting, but it seems to be for European models. Some things like the trailer hitch, for example, are not available worldwide.
The official WIS/EPC requires a very expensive subscription ($3500 US) and is overkill because it covers 1986-2022.
I bought something similar to this several years ago. It seems to work. I believe these are older versions which are discarded when a newer release becomes available. Also, unlike the paid subscription, the information is not regualrly updated.
Great to here its lasting 300K+. Mines a little over 150K and hope it lasts many more years. Living in new England the biggest issue is dealing with rust and corrosion from the winter road salt. Ill buy used Mercedes parts from California salvage cars and theres such a difference in the condition of the parts.
So far ive had good luck tracking down diagrams and maintenance instructions online but takes some time searching. Whenever I come across a diagram or WIS document ill print it out and add it to my binder even if i dont need it at the time.
Pretty sure his 300k is kilometers, or about 160k miles. Still good.
Sorry that's 300K miles on 2nd engine. But it's part of the family at this point. I handed off to my son its been the perfect car to learn. Still a solid car for now. lol
