Front right malfunction. Consult workshop.
Show airbag symbol and says ”Front right malfunction. Consult workshop.”
Had this issue come up after removing seat harness.
No fault codes via obd scanner using icarsoft application.
Checked the wiring for loose connectors but not found. Even removed the seat belt buckle and connector was firmly attached. (All connectors sprayed with electonic cleaner).
So what to do next? Searched for hours to find a solution but no luck for me. Car is a 2014 w204 4matic C220D if that helps with tips or solutions. Also has full electric seats with door buttons.

if youre talking about the seat belt this thread may lead you in the right direction. Something about codes need to be cleared, and some scanners wont be able to read the specific codes.

iCarsoft MB II or MB V3.0 should be able to detect and clear the SRS code. If not, you should get a LAUNCH Creader Elite BENZ which I know works for sure. If you get it on Amazon and it doesn't work, return it.

If so, the belt buckle is suspect. I've had to replace two of these already, one for each side. No residual warning lights should remain after you swap it out, but I had the battery disconnected when I worked on mine. Good luck.

What scanner did you use the first time and what scanner worked this last time? People need to know the importance of having the right scanner.

First time i used icarsoft elm327 reader and it did not show any fault codes but then i used launch crp mot II and it found fault codes and got them cleared with that.
