What is this pipe
I was looking for a bad coolant leak and found this break in a pipe. Appears to be coming from the turbo.
Don't know the name of this pipe to look for a new one .. .unless the pressure is so low that I can wrap the
break.
btw, I accidentally posted this is the wrong forum, sorry about that.

Do you have a CEL or have you scanned for codes?

Scanned for codes and nothing showed up.
Pretty sure I found the leak but this broken hose/pipe concerns me a bit. Doesn't seem to
affect anything. Maybe I have to get on it a bit, for the turbo to kick in. But if I wanted to
replace this hose, I don't know what the name of the part is. Hence the question

I saw a screenshot of that broken pipe on the video above. I dont know if he fixed it, or is trying to sell you something.

Well that is the question, can I fix it or should I replace it. Thanks for the parts diagram but there are like 7 number 40's
Not sure which one it is. The video doesn't appear to be replacing the pipe I am pointing to, unless I'm not looking at it right.

The part# will be stamped on your part, maybe on the underside somewhere.
i dont have that engine or ever worked on that engine so I dont know how all that is put together.
I did come across something labeled as an intake pipe repair mini hose. It looks like it may replace that broken hose, but I have no personal knowledge. Can that section be removed and replaced with something like this:

Unfortunately, MB doesn’t supply it without buying the whole intake air tube for $200+. You might find that one of the hoses described by @TimC300 works, but heater hose works just a well.

Ok, that answers everything. Thanks TimC300 for all that info, should really be able to find something there.
And O, thanks that is about what I was thinking but it helps you confirming it.
Thanks again guys.
