i think mercedes shot and released this spy video clip. The video was too well filmed to be coming from a spy video photographer. If it did come from such a person, then he's a genius.

New head designer. The current cars are all evolution of the design language started by Bruno Saco(sp?) with the last gen E, and put in full force with the now pretty old CL. His successor further refined it with each subsequent design onward till the new CLS, I believe they were all penned under the same leadership. He left, and I think he's at VW now...correct me if I'm wrong...anyway, I think the new guy is out to leave his mark at MB with a new design language. I think cars like the Kia and Hyundai coming out with quasi E-Class and C sedanesque headlights also had an impact on the death of the much prefered round lights. I love em.

There was no word when the W204 would be in the US. Based on past introductions it will probably be in the spring of 2007 as a 2008 model in the US
