Great job on the pics. Very difficult to see the lines of the car to make a judgement on the body shape, but from what I can see, I don't like it. Only thing that I do like is the split dual oval tips.

yeah kinda hard to see the lines from the pics. its rather bigger and boxier than the current 203. taller too. but i dont think this was the sport sedan, well at least it didnt havce the crossdrilled front brakes. but it did have aluminum trim and dual exhaust. but up close it was easier to see the car lines, it was just taped over with gaffer tape, no actual body molding. i wanted to get inside, but it was kind of hard with benz people hovering the area. like i mentioned earlier when one took off at almost full throtle it sounded very similar to the current G35 coupes. we'll see when they are finally unveilved. hope they come back to my job so i can take better pics!!

IMO, the interior looks really cheap and lacks of design.
I actually like the front, it looks wide and stylish, comparing to our classic look.
But the rear...i can't appreciate. It looks anything but a Mercedes. Just when i thought the new 3's rear looks ugly...now it's got a runner-up.
Now i konw how classic our W203's are, i am happy that i got one before it's replaced.^^

WERD! This is exactly what happened when the spy pics of the W203 came out........This isn't the final production version so there are still some tweaks that are going to be done, including the interior.

Ew. Funny how the supposed photoshops from nearly 3 years ago are dead on the money, even in the interior. Nice to see they dumped the ugly as all hell 4 spoke wheel, in favor of the 3 spoker. The rest of the interior is ****. How do you like how cheap MB is with the stereo...no display other than on the NAV screen- WTF? And that means something like an I-Drive mouse is hiding nearby. I said if before, I'll say it again, W204 is looking like ****.
Anybody notice how much of the detailing, especially in front is taped on plastic? And why would anybody care if youre taking pics? Stuff like this is almost always a staged event to leak some 'spy' shots to drum up interest in the car.
And boy, is it nasty. The front end is Acura meets Scion, with a MB star....the rear is full diaper. No thanks. BMW ruined its 3 series styling, so I guess MB had to ugly up the C Class.

Interesting the comments that put the car down before the official pics are shown. How many folks here hated the spy shots of the S-Class before the wraps came off only to fall in love with the finished product? If the C looks like a mini-S again, which is what the pics show except for the rear, then everything will be ok with this design. The wheel arches are there, but they're been toned down especially the rear one, which is the only part of the S that I'm not crazy about. The comments about the interior are just hilarious because the current C's interior was cheap as all get out before the facelift and MB can't do any worse than that! If the new S is anything to go by Mercedes has fixed all their interior quality problems and a ruff prototype is not the place to judge interior quality!

Unlike many of you I find the new C to be gorgeous. The W203 is an ageless beauty but it never had that true Mercedes look of substance to it, the new car is returning to the big and substantial look that made Mercedes-Benz famous so many years ago. I do agree that the interior looks a little cheap but C-Class' always have been, especially the current generation. You just can't expect to get S-Class level quality at a car that costs a quarter of the price. I gaurantee that once the official photos are released all of you will fall in love with the car, it is a Mercedes after all.

Some exterior features that I noticed: Facelifted e-class side view mirrors, facelifted e-class pointy grille, CLS and the new CL body crease. This one might be OK. I agree the A/C vents in the picture are just plain ugly, although I wouldnt worry about the interior. Did you see that they still use the current W203 digital temp control ? That tells me the interior in the pic is just temporary. The final product will be much better.

it's just in 2 years you'll start to see many w204s on the road too, and in 6 years you'll see them even more, just like the current w203. At any given period of time, you'll see many current C-class benzes on the road.
