Hyundaii i will have a ball with this..it will be much easier to copy. Unfortunately, like the S, it seems a little bland to me. The current styling screams Mercedes Benz, but the up and comming just kinda wispers it..

The front looks good to me. I like the S-Class so I will like this one as well but the rear bumper isn't that great. I see the rear bumper being easily scratched and stuff.
The MLK is hot! I think it looks very agressive versus the X3. The X3 looks weak but this MLK looks muscular.

this is nicer than most of the pictures circulating the web. Its definately a mini S, and Im sure the Amg kit on it will look pretty sweet.

The front is hot cause it basically mimics the new S, which is on fire by the way, but the back is lacking. Reminds me too much of the toyota camry back. Kinda dissapointing. I'm not gonna criticize too much until I see official pics on the official MB website and also see it in person. Plus, Evil Duffman is right, the AMG sport package will prolly look hot as hell.

Looks like ****. Bland city. Could be Acura if you replace the Grille. The MLK (supposedly this was to be called MLX before Lincoln went nuts with the crappy three letter names for all its cars) is even worse, it looks like the outgoing RAV4.

with all the comments here, it's funny how the design implies copying the Acura and Toyota's .
Isn't it also ironic those were the same comments when our current generation debuted, and now everyone thinks it looks like a goddess?

I don't remember any such comments, nor do I see any resemblence, past or present in the Toyota or Honda line that resemble any of the 4 W203 cars.

It looks like a Jap car to me. Whatever happened to European artwork. First BMW, now Mercedes. Is Jaguar the only company that uses clay to develop their art instead of letting a computer draw a robot?
I thought that car was a Lexus the first time I saw that picture. Uggh! And, no, I've never thought the current w203 looked like a Jap car.

Two downsides...the FWD, and that obnoxious Audi grille...but at least its distinctive...and NOT trying to imitate the weakest of the asian wanna be brands.

I agree, especially in this day and age...it can be hard though, as many of us grew up hearing our grandfathers refering to anything built over seas that way..probably no intention of rascism..

Jap is short for Japanese just as Amer is short for American, Swede is short for Swedish, etc. etc. I don't have time to type everything out, nor should I have to. If you don't like it, don't read it. I don't see anyone aorund here getting pissed off that people type Swede.
And, BTW, I spend some time on a motorcycle forums and everyone uses Jap for short because a large majority of the bikes are made in Japan and most of the people there don't even think twice about it which is probably why I didn't.
