New 2008 C-Class Pics
Ok so Daimer-Benz was at my job today doing a conference. And..they had the parking lot full of Benzes. All kinds. The new CL was there, looked NICE! Some Aston Martins, a not released yet Lexus LS450, bunch of ML's GL's and a E63. BUT the biggest draw was the tottally covered in gaffer tape 2008 C-Class,. They had 2, once drove away as i went to get my camera phone, and camera. When i came back, i took some pictures. most were from my camera phone, some from my digicam. I used the phone because its not as suspicious as a digi cam. there was this rather large german fellow giving me glances once in a while.
Thats it. I wish i could have grabbed some more! When one of the W204's drove away, man, that growl from then engine/exhaust was nice!! On a side note, when a group of german guys from mercedes walked passed a 'blingged out' GT Mustang they snickered and pointed and said something in german. im sure it wasnt nice.

yea so far i think our w203's look better. the new one is also bigger i noticed. its not the same as jumping from the w202 to our w203, were the looks was deif. an improvement. i'll wait until i see one fully unwrapped and finalized before i make my final decition

nice pics! thanks! I'm not sold on it yet... I'm not liking the interior either... at least it has digital climate control though.

it was in the parking lot of the World Trade Center/Hilton Long Beach, in Long Beach, CA. I assist clients with their A/V needs. One of my clients today was Mercedes. yeah it was cool, bunch of Benz Engineers admiring all the cars in the parking lot! To bad they were only there for one day

I agree with everyone, W203 looks so much nicer.
A few comments about the 204: those side view mirrors are like the new Lexus IS: looks like they ripped that off from the SUV and glued it there.
Pop-UP nav screen is also like the old IS. Also, the A/C vents has no design to it: looks like the took it from the older benzs (202, 210). IMO, the rear is terrible, that Mitsu Lancer style taillight/rear end has to be gone
Just one question/comment in general. Don't you all think the trend of cars these days are getting "thicker and box-ier"---in terms of height and smaller windows, if you know what I mean. More sheetmetal and many of them are very tall. Look at the new S class, the thick mattress style trunk looks very similar to the new 7 series, but a little nicer though.
Oh well, I will make a final judgement when it is unwrapped
